TOTAL LAWN CARE

We know lawn care budgets are tight, that is why Bio-Logic Soil Builders developed three different packages to meet the needs of both your lawn and budget. We also allow you to create a custom package that will best suit your needs.

Your lawn program from Bio-Logic Soil Builders has been separated into three different applications: spring, summer, and fall. This doesn’t only help your pocket book, but your lawn has different needs bases on the climate outside.

Spring: Topdressing with compost, mineral, and fertilizer followed by our liquid humus extract will prepare your lawn for the upcoming hot and dry season.

Summer: When the hot dry weather sets in, we apply fertilizer and liquid humus extract to give your lawn the boost it needs to stay healthy and green through the summer. Our Premium package will also include a second compost application in the summer for optimal results.

Fall: Topdressing with humus compost and liquid humus extract will give you a great end of the year green up and prepare your lawn for winter to help ensure a quick green up in the spring.

These three affordable treatments will keep your yard looking great all year.

Recommendations:

(Recommendations will vary depending on the condition of your soil)

Although it is best to start your new lawn with Bio-Seeding or applying our soil amendments before you lay sod, it is never too late to build healthy soil in your existing lawn.

We recommend that new customers start their lawn care program with our Premium package. This program has three compost applications that are essential in building your lawn’s topsoil the first year. Our Premium package will provide you with great results the first year and is only necessary that year. Your lawn care costs will also decrease faster since you will be building your soil quicker. Below is an example of how your lawn care costs will decrease over a 5 year period. While our Basic package is the most economical, you will not have the same results that you would if you started with the Premium package (i.e. a lawn that started with the Premium package would be healthier in year 2 than a Basic lawn would in year 5). However, if our Basic package fits your budget now, let’s get started!

Since our main focus is building healthy soil and not just feeding your grass or plants, the frequency of soil treatments will continue to decline. On the contrary, the costs associated with a chemically treated lawn will continue to go up each year with their dependency on the petroleum market.  A synthetic lawn becomes addicted to the “drugs” you are feeding and needs more and more to stay looking good, thus, increasing costs. Below is a lawn cost comparison of costs associated with Bio-Logic and a chemical company. Note in years 5 and 8 of Bio-Logic the costs increase due to a mineral application.

Weed Control

Our goal is to build healthy soil that is naturally resistant to weeds. However, it will take several years to build soil that is strong enough to fight off weeds. In the meantime, we offer weed control to keep pesky weeds from taking over your lawn.

EFFICIENT SEED GERMINATION

Spreading grass seed with Bio-Logic compost and humus extract allows a sprouting rate of nearly 100%. This rate is higher than hydro seeding since the seed is better protected against weather hazards such as wind, sun, and temperature variations. It also allows for better water retention, maintaining the necessary levels of humidity that are essential for the sprouting of seeds. Our process is the best way to assure rapid and complete germination of grass seed.

AFFORDABLE

Bio-Seeding is 1/4 the cost of laying sod and also much more cost effective than hydro seeding. With the ability of our compost to retain water, it is cheaper and easier to keep your lawn moist for 21 days. It also contains all the nutrients required for grass growth so you will not have to spend any money or time fertilizing.
